I had a finish last night that I'm thrilled with how it came out -- LHN's "Home of a Needleworker, Too!" done on 32 ct. Antique White evenweave with suggested fibers.  I really enjoyed this stitch and can't wait to get it framed!

Once this was off the Qsnaps, I started L*K's "One Hundred Years"... I'm about 4-5 hours in and plan on making a dent tonight.  I'll show you in my next post.

Birthday Giveaway!

Yes, today is the day.  For some reason this one is bothering me... I think, as my longest friend Amanda pointed out today, it's not the fact that I'm having a birthday that's bothering me... it's probably because my older daugher will be heading off to college in a few short weeks that has me out of sorts this year. 

I've been very busy lately and just wanted to pop on here to announce a giveaway--- post on my blog between now and Monday 9am EST and I'll pick a winner for 39 DMC skeins out of my stash! (that's 38 + 1 to grow on, haha)  For this giveaway I will not limit it to just the US; anyone can participate.
